1 – Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
1.1 – Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
1.2 – By using, browsing and/or reading the squadron.com.au website, this signifies that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, then you must immediately cease using the squadron.com.au website and/or any services provided by Squadron Fitness.
1.3 – By remaining on the squadron.com.au website, you are signifying that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
1.4 – You may also accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms and Conditions, where this option is made available to you on squadron.com.au.
2 – Changes to Terms and Conditions
2.1 – Squadron Fitness reserves the right to review and change any of the Terms and Conditions by updating this page at our sole discretion.
2.2 – When Squadron Fitness updates the Terms and Conditions, we will use reasonable endeavours to provide you with notice of updates to the Terms and Conditions. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions take immediate effect from the date of their publication.
2.3 – Before you continue, we recommend that you keep a copy of the Terms and Conditions for your records.
2.4 – The Terms and Conditions were last updated on 29 June 2019.
3 – Pre-exercise assessment
3.1 – All new members must complete our pre-exercise assessment prior to participating in our fitness programs. It simply requires the completion of a short form and will only take a few minutes. Your Squadron Instructor will guide you through the form.
3.2 – The pre-exercise assessment plays an important role in our commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our members.
3.3 – The pre-exercise screening system has been developed and endorsed by Fitness Australia, Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA).
4 – Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk
4.1 – All new members must complete our Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk form prior to participating in our fitness programs. This will only take a few minutes and your Squadron Instructor can guide you through the form.
5 – Upgrade, downgrade or cancel your Squadron membership at any time
5.1 – You’re free to upgrade, downgrade or cancel your membership at any time; and you can do it in a matter of seconds by simply logging in to your squadron.com.au member account and navigating to your membership section. You can also contact our team and we’ll sort it out for you.
5.2 – You don’t need to fill in any forms, give us advance notice, or repeatedly remind us to cancel your renewal. We’ll be sorry to see you go, but will always welcome you back!
6 – Members Zone
6.1 – Members Zone access is granted to active Squadron members.
6.2 – If Squadron membership lapses without being renewed, access to the Members Zone will cease. Access will be immediately restored if membership is renewed or a new membership is purchased.
6.2 – Casual passes do not grant access to the Members Zone.
7 – Trade marks and other intellectual property
7.1 – All third party trade marks, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners.
7.2 – If you believe that one or more of your trade marks, logos or brands have been used without your authorisation, please contact us immediately.
7.3 – Squadron Fitness retains all rights, title and interest in and to the Squadron Fitness brand, squadron.com.au website and all related services. Nothing you do on or in relation to the squadron.com.au website or related services will transfer any of the following to you:
- business name, trading name, domain name, trade mark, industrial design, patent, registered design or copyright; or
- a right to use or exploit a business name, trading name, domain name, trade mark or industrial design; or
- a thing, system or process that is the subject of a patent, registered design or copyright (or an adaptation or modification of such a thing, system or process).
